Our Story: A Little Miracle

Holly Heider Chapple flowers is a little miracle that has grown into a successful floral and event design Studio working with clientele all over the country. Our story begins over twenty years ago, when Holly began designing wedding flowers in her kitchen sink as a means to stay at home with her two young children. Even in her wildest dreams, Holly did not imagine that her tiny kitchen business would see five more children and become an internationally recognized floral and event design studio. With designers all over the world as part of her distinguished Chapel Designers clan, and widely recognized in leading publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Town & Country as well as on Style Me Pretty, the tiny seeds of Holly’s beginnings have blossomed into homegrown success.

Joining Forces

After nearly two decades of running the business on her own, Holly’s husband Evan joined the company in 2011 to manage daily operations. In addition to the expertise that Evan brings to the table in the realm of production, lighting and drape, this maneuver has allowed Holly to dedicate more time to her passion- hands-on design. In addition, Holly is now able to train and speak to floral and event designers around the globe and spend valuable time meeting with her clients.

Full Bloom

The Holly Heider Chapple Studio has grown and matured over the years and our story continues to blossom into a delightful tale of success. The Studio has chosen to remain a home-based business as Holly and Evan are dedicated to being at home with their children.  In addition, the property now boasts extensive gardens that foster beautiful additions to the Studio’s floral creations, in addition to row upon row of colorful inspiration.

Holly Heider Chapple Flowers’ transformation from simply being a design-based studio into an agricultural business provides the studio with the ability to have seasonal access to fresh products grown right on the premises. Holly regularly comments that she is in awe of the bountiful yield that the gardens proffer, providing stunning pieces for unique arrangements. Holly credits her gardens for keeping her design ideas fresh, allowing her to become a trendsetter in the floral and event design industry.
